SUMMER 2023 - work, pavlova and birthday champagne
First of all, let me apologize for not posting anything for half a year ♥
It has been a bit hectic with work. The whole summer went by so fast, and so did the fall! I was busy first with our popup, then with opening up our new shop and then with designing a few design projects for a Finnish ministry. A lot of interesting stuff going on lately!
But it wasn't all work. Our neighbor Tuula's dog Manu the Great stayed with us several times during the summer and fall ♥ According to my health app I have walked about 1300 km during the last 12 months, a trip equivalent to walking from Helsinki to Inari up north. Most of it with Manu!
And who wouldn't love to walk in these kind of surroundings!
Had of course time to eat a lot of pavlova ♥
Had time to sit down with family and enjoy the beautiful Porvoo evenings.
Went swimming a few times at my most favorite spot by the sea, Varlaxudden in Emäsalo.
Dove some bladder wrack for cooking!
Picked up a lot of breakfast treats from the nature ♥
Ate a lot of icecream 😍
For the whole summer I had a popup store in our living room on Vuorikatu, close to the cathedral of Porvoo. And surprisingly people found us there, better than they did our store in the center of Helsinki during the last couple of years. We had visitors from all over the world, from Alaska to Singapore and back. Thank you for visiting us, all you lovely folks ♥
My dear friends Sanna and Ilkka came shopping in our new store already before it was officially open ♥
It is like living in a story book when you live in Porvoo Old Town ♥
And guess what! We are going to stay here, so I might need the change the name of my blog...
